KCHA is committed to protecting the health and safety of our tenants, staff and partners. Following the instructions from the Government and guidance issued by Public Health England, we have implemented measures that will regretfully mean a temporary reduction in overall services to our tenants.
As of Monday 23rd March 2020 the following will apply:
- Essential repairs only
- Office closed to external visitors
- Closure of all communal lounges and facilities (with the exception of laundry facilities)
- Residents/carers using communal laundry rooms will be required to follow strict procedures on social distancing
- Postponement of:
- Bathroom replacement program
- Cyclical repairs program
- Tenant engagement program
From Monday 30th March all our staff will be working remotely from home. Anyone contacting the office will be directed to call 07951 966458 for finance issues and 07951 966454 for housing management issues. Anyone with access to email or the internet will be able to email us at o email@example.com or by going through our website.
All our staff and contractors are currently operational and we anticipate in most cases you won’t notice much difference. We will soon be contacting each tenant personally to discuss in further detail the measures in place and to request up to date contact information including mobile phone numbers, email addresses and emergency contacts.
In order for you to help us, we ask that you consider whether your repair is urgent or if it can wait until things have settled down a bit. Also please let us know if you are self-isolating as this in most cases will require a delay until after you have recovered.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will take all appropriate and proportionate measures to protect you, our staff and the whole community.
